Repot Your Life with Frances Edmonds

Have you ever felt stuck, lost, uninspired, or simply bored? When we’ve left a houseplant too long in a pot that’s too small, the plant will eventually stop growing and die. We humans are not much different. In her new book, Repotting Your Life: Sense When You’re Stuck. Explore What’s Possible. Claim Room to Grow, author Frances Edmonds explores how we can look at our lives and see when we’ve become pot bound, or said another way, in need of growth and change. We’re designed to grow and flourish. Sometimes the answer is to repot.

In this conversation we discuss:

  • What it means and feels like to be potbound;
  • How and why we can start to repot ourselves;
  • Why the LEARN – EARN – RETIRE model of life is obsolete;
  • How grit and resilience can sometimes block us from making needed change;
  • Serial repotting and mid-life crisis;
  • How we can resource ourselves to handle the choppy waters of change.
