Life should feel good. Your work and relationships should satisfy you without making you feel anxious, combative and overwhelmed.

Both ancient and modern wisdom have shown us that most of our suffering is self-imposed. When we learn to tune into and navigate the direction of our thoughts, we step into the driver’s seat of our lives.

As a stress management, mindfulness and resilience teacher, my work is to help my clients feel steadier and sturdier. Weaving its way through the courses I teach, one-on-one consultations and the corporate trainings and programs I lead is the ethos that cultivating consistent presence and centeredness takes practice, and that practice is supported by habits and ritual.

As a result, my core teachings focus on the cultivation of a daily centering practice, a weekly slowdown and a quarterly at-home reflection retreat. These three rituals give the practitioner the opportunities to regularly re-inhabit his/her inner world and tune into thoughts, emotions and physical sensations. It’s in these moments of reclaiming our inner awareness that we are able to access compassion, discernment and insight.
