How to Make More Time for Yourself

When we look at the landscape of our lives and notice that most of our time is given to others, it can provoke feelings of unfairness, resentment or grief. In the midst of all of your commitments, obligations and relationships, there’s a “you” in there that would like his or her fair share of the pie. Being intentional about creating more time for yourself is less about having a “me first” mentality and more about having a “me too” approach. When we start to see just how deserving we each are, and how much it matters that our needs are met too, we start to find ways to create space for ourselves in the midst of all of our doing and giving.

In this episode I discuss:

  • Why we need time for ourselves;
  • How to figure out how best to spend that time;
  • How we would feel and be for others with more time for ourselves;
  • Where to find the time and build it into our lives in a regular basis.
